Overview:
The incumbent will be participating in a variety of duties that will include the following: Trail Maintenance (Motorized, Non-Motorized and Wilderness Trails. Facility Maintenance of our Administrative and Recreation Facilities which includes cleaning restrooms and a rental cabin. Educating the public on correct recreation practices. Interaction with stock animals will also be a major part of the incumbents duties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Show up to work on time and with the correct attire and personal essential items
- Maintains and improves trail conditions ranging from Wilderness to Motorized Trails.
- Cleans and maintains recreational and administrative facilities
- Willingness to adapt to different schedules and work locations
- Educates the public on correct recreation practices
- Works well in a team setting and in a rapidly changing environment
- Willing to take direction from supervisor and provide updates/feedback
Qualifications:
Able to work in hot and arduous conditions
Experience with Stock Animals
OHV Experience
Familiar with multiple primitive hand tools and power tools
Good people skills
Hiking in difficult terrain
Ability to communicate well with supervisor, team members and the public
Willing to get dirty when necessary after having provided for safety (in other words cleaning horse trailers and bathrooms)
